My kitchen is not exactly user-friendly, which is my excuse for spending as little time in it as possible! And with the huge amount of restaurants, take-away and delivery services available – ordering in or eating out is the simpler option. Don’t get me wrong, I love a home cooked meal, but I needed to find that one kitchen product that not only promised to make my life easier, but actually did!
Then I found Recke’s range of multicookers. Designed to be an ‘All-in-One’ appliance, they will substitute the kitchen stove, oven, steamer, fryer, pan and microwave oven, perfect if you’re craving something homemade, be it soup, stew or a freshly baked cake. Despite this, they’re very compact, so they fit into even the smallest kitchen, and with prices ranging from Dhs 299 to Dhs 649, they’re quite reasonably priced.
All the cookers come with a fryer basket and steaming tray, plus a detailed step-by-step recipe book for up to 250 recipes. The touch control panel comes with 69 cooking programmes, allowing you to select what type of meal you want to cook, with built-in overheating protection and a sealed lid with child lock (or in my case – cat lock!), plus a timer that counts down the cooking time.
I really liked the fact I could schedule a programme up to 24 hours in advance, allowing me to cook lunch overnight or dinner during the day. It definitely made my life easier! RECKE Multicookers are available across selected stores and e-commerce entities in the UAE.
